Treasure Skills are a really good way in Fate of The Empress to customize your heroes and give them that edge that will help your team work even better!

12. Glowing Rainbow

ree

Grade: B

Minimum Viability: Best

What: Increases wielder’s atk by 6.5/4.5/3/2% for each defeated enemy, stacking up to three times.

  • Maximum of 19.5/13.5/9/6, respectively.

Glowing Rainbow is ok. It suffers the same drawbacks as Joyful Sorrow, but has a little less of a steep requirement to fully activate in return for a weaker buff. Basically read that skill and apply it to this one.

  • Who: MC Alpha Guard, Prince Gao, Zhan Zhao and Li Bai are probably the best for this skill.

  • When: If you get like a really really good stat roll on a heavy hitter and maybe a really good other second skill then this is alright.

  • Strengths: It’s an atk buff?

  • Weaknesses: It’s got an annoying requirement to activate. There are better skills for damage dealers.

13. True Perseverance

ree

Grade: SSS

Minimum Viability: Crappy

What: Decreases 45/30/20/12% dmg when hp is under 30%

True Perseverance is amazing. Easily one of the best skills you can get. Works on anyone, especially already tanky units who might dip down a little in health and need healed up. Use this. It’s extremely versatile. Your healers will thank you. Your tanks will thank you. Everyone will thank you. Obama will thank you. Trump will thank you. Whoever your particular political hero is will thank you.

  • Who: Everyone

  • When: For anyone, for any reason.

  • Strengths: It’s straight up mitigation when you need it the most.

  • Weaknesses: Your enemies might have this skill, making them harder to kill.

14. Anticipated Vision

ree

Grade: SSS

Minimum Viability: Meh

What: Increases agi by 80/60/40/20 for all allies for the first two turns of combat

Anticipated Vision is like a weaker version of Imperial Jade from Cascade Manor. If you follow my guides/coaching on the best curios for stomping Cascade into the dirt you know how highly I prize the massive boost in agi you get from it. This skill is only a flat agi increase but you can stack it between a bunch of different heroes and come out the gate lightning-fast.

  • Who: This can fit on anyone.

  • When: Most teams, except for extremely tuned teams, want to be as fast as possible. This is good for any of them.

  • Strengths: It’s an agi boost. Agi is amazing.

  • Weaknesses: Loses steam after two rounds, so better be quick!

15. Heartless Chef

ree

Grade: SSS

Minimum Viability: Good

What: Wielder deals 30/20/13/8% extra dmg to Gourmets.

Heartless Chef is a wonderful skill that increases dmg done to Gourmets. This is easily the best of the specific class dmg increase skills because some of the most annoying heroes *cough*ZhuangZhou*cough* are Gourmets. Gourmets are also naturally tanky, and many have great sustain abilities. If you want to hit them hard, use this ability.

  • Who: Big damage dealers like Mozi, Zhan Zhao, MC Guard, Zhuge Liang

  • When: When you’re sick of these friggin’ Daddy ZZ’s stopping everything you try to do.

  • Strengths: It helps kill nuisances like Zhuang Zhou and Daiochan

  • Weaknesses: Only lets you do extra dmg to Gourmets.

16. Incurable Disease

ree

Grade: S

Minimum Viability: Good

What: Wielder deals 30/20/13/8% extra dmg to Doctors.

Doctors can be huge pains in the butt. They can control you, debuff you, and outlast you if built properly. Incurable Disease helps you deal with them much more quickly. Not as useful as Heartless Chef but still a great skill.

  • Who: Fast AOE heavy hitters like this - Mozi, Zhuge Liang, Song Yu, Li Bai, Zhan Zhao are all excellent choices for this kill.

    • The faster the better. The most painful docs are extremely fast, so outspeeding them is key when running this skill.

  • When: When you need to handle nuisances like Daji and Guiguzi.

  • Strengths: Helps you kill Docs faster.

  • Weaknesses: Only helps you kill Docs, who are arguably some of the easiest to kill anyway.

17. Fresh Vigor

ree

Grade: S

Minimum Viability: Crappy

What: For every extra doctor, increase wielder’s acc by 10/7/4.5/3, up to 3 layers.

  • Maxes out to 30/21/13.5/9%, respectively.

Fresh Vigor is kind of hard to set up but it’s a really, really good skill when set up properly. Even at its worst rarity, four docs on the team with Fresh Vigor will all receive 9% extra acc.

  • Who: A doc who runs on your team with at least one other doc. Daji, MC Doc, Guiguzi, Ying Zeng combo is really good, especially if you can get the skill on each of them. It helps reduce the need for prized acc gems.

  • When: When you run at least two Docs on your team.

  • Strengths: Massive acc boost if used right.

  • Weaknesses: Takes a pretty specific team planned out ahead of time. And a lot of treasure polishing.
