Fate of The Empress Guide: EARLIEST GUIDE OF "SNOWY VISIT" (2024/02/05)

Update on 2024, February 5th: The event comes back with the name "Snowy Visit" but it's the same as Summer Cruise.

Update on 2023, July 10th, 03:00: All screenshots are changed to English version. No big change compares to the early preview, except that reward for Treasure Hunt is the Godly Tapir Egg, not the triple ride "Three Piggies". I will update once again with detailed gameplay and video guide in the afternoon.

I. Overview

Date and Time: 2024, February 5th ~ March, 10th (35 days)

The event will contain 6 small activities (Actually in Korean version there were 7 but the cooking activity is not mentioned in Fate of The Empress website so I removed it), and an event shop to exchange rewards. Each activity will be explained in this guide.

II. Activity "Ocean Treasure"

If you guys have been playing Fate of The Empress for a long time, you may not be unfamiliar with this minigame anymore. It's just the same as the Lotus Pond minigame in Spring Event but with a different graphic. If you are new to Fate of The Empress, search for the game "Gold Miner", it works the same. Tap on the screen to cast the claw and reel to hook the items.

You will have to spend 5 ingots to buy 1 chance tho and there is a limit of 60 chances per day.

The Starfish gives 10 Ripple Grass, the Coral gives 5.

III. Activity "Azure Realm"

TIPS:

1. Exchange for all items that can upgrade your team even in the first week (don’t leave them in the shop). You need them all around levels 110+.

2. Focus on upgrading 1 character at a time. The last guard will give the best might so spam everything on him as soon as you get him.

3. When upgrading guards one by one, starting from the last guard first, then the first guard last.

You will train a cute chibi Royal Guard, explore and fight with the NPC to clear stages and win the prize. You will get Ripple Grass from this activity and it can be used to play Treasure Hunt or exchange items in the event shop.

You have 10 free times a day to explore but you can buy more with ingots.

You can recruit more assistant Guards to help you to explore when you pass stage 10th, 25th, 40th, and 55th.

You also can access Guard Station to upgrade level, gears, skills of the chibi Guards like how you upgrade your heroes.

IV. Activity "Spirit Pet"

The Spirit Pet will change each time the event comes back.

When it appeared the 1st time in the Korean version, the Spirit Pet was Chenghuang but in our global version as Summer event, it was be Tapir.

For this Snowy Visit, it will be Dancing Lion.

Just login the event and click the "Feed" button for 22 days to obtain a Fabled Tapi for free.

V. Activity "Glittering Delight"

By participating in other events in "Summer Cruise", you will obtain event EXP and Ripple Grass to claim the costume Riding Waves. 1 Ripple Grass = 1 EXP.

Total number of levels: 60

Amount of XP per level: 500

Total XP required = 60*500=30,000

Total XP required over 35 days = 30000/35 = 858

And if you are just going for the dress, it’s 715xp per day.

TIPS:

Feed the pet = 100 XP
Quests (some need Jade or gold) = 500 XP
Fishing (5 gold per turn) = 50 per jelly (3 per round?), 10 per star fish, 5 per coral.
So if you manage to complete 1 and 2, still need to fish at least 258 (or 115 for the dress, more if you skip the quest) worth of stuff from the sea (I don’t do the clear all because I want to minimise gold spending. Save some bait for the next day)

If you click on the "Treasure Hunt" sub-menu, you can use Ripple Grass to play the treasure hunt game too to get the Godly Dancing Lion Egg or exchange items in the shop. Pretty much just another "Spending and Luck" kind of game.

VI. Activity "Nautical Divine"

It's a classic picture-matching memory game, you can google it to try a similar game. Basically, you will need to match 2 same photos by flipping the shells.

There will be 9 kinds of rewards hidden in 18 shells. You can choose one and the other 8 will be random. You get the rewards when you succeed to match them.

To be able to play, you will need the Luster Shell. 1 Luster Shell for 1 chance, and 300 Jades top up to get 1 Luster Shell, max 3 per day. I will shut my mouth and won't talk about how money-draining this is.

VII. Activity "Ocean Voyage" - Main Activity

This will be the main activity of this 1-month event.

You will be given initial funds for trading and initial storage capacity for carrying goods between cities.

There will be 3 random events in each city (listening to news in each city, wandering around, fishing, collecting information,etc.) but you can only choose 1 and get the rewards from it. After that you will need to move to the next city. If you ever see "Business Intel", you should choose it, it will give the discount for all goods in that city or the next city.

You only have 10 times a day to explore and CANNOT buy more chances.

You can travel to various cities, and there are 10 times a day. If you click on "Chart" and city names, you can review what goods the city sells. I would prioritize red and yellow quality goods cuz they have more values.

You can use these funds to exchange in the shop or buy or sell items in the Trade House to increase your fund and gain.

So the selling and buying prices of the items in each city can be different. You may buy something at the cheaper price in one city and sell it at higher price in another city to make profit. But remember there is a capacity of how many items you can carry across cities. You can increase this storage capacity by using fund to purchase more slots (500 funds for 10 more slots).

You can also Bargain with the merchants. If you succeed, the price will decrease, if not it will go up. Look at their mood and don't be too aggressive.

Based on your cumulative gain, you can win ranking rewards.

We don't know if the goods will be cleared at reset or not yet, it's better to sell them before reset on 1st day for SEA servers. For NA and EU servers, I will update you at reset in SEA.
